A2Y Chamber DEI Series Event: Dr. Sabrina Jackson, Essential Colors and DEI Vision for Business
"DEI Journey Up the Continuum"
Essential Colors
Foundation and Vision
Our initial session with Dr. Sabrina left everyone wanting more and we are so excited to bring her back!
If you missed her the first time, we will bring you up to speed by offering a brief overview of the Cultural Competence Continuum and take you right into an Essential Colors assessment, talking about personalities, temperament differences, and how they impact human interaction. Participants will gain a greater insight into their leadership style and Dr. Sabrina will offer tips in order for one to create a DEI SWOT Analysis and Vision Statement for DEI in their business.
If you saw her the first time, we heard you loud and clear, and here is your opportunity to continue the conversation, and expand upon the time initially spent with her and your peers.
Whether you, or your organization, are just getting started on your DEI journey, or even if you have a good comprehension of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, this session is for you, and you don't want to miss it!
There are many challenges affecting the availability of opportunities for black-owned/run businesses and their employees. Many other minority groups face similar circumstances. Attendees who bring an open mind, and a genuine interest to learn about DEI issues to this event can develop a better awareness and understanding of where they and their organization are on the continuum, and how to continue taking meaningful steps toward great equity of opportunity.
