TheRide Announces 2026 Independence Day Transit Schedule
ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) will not operate fixed-route bus service, FlexRide, or A-Ride services on Saturday, July 4, 2026 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide), Ann Arbor District Library (AADL), and Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) are partnering again this summer to provide Free Ride Weekends. This is in coordination with the AADL Summer Game and the YDL Summer Challenge. Every Saturday and Sunday from June 13 to August 30, library cardholders can ride any of TheRide local fixed-route buses for free.
