West Oak Dog Photography Announces ''The Dogs of Ann Arbor'' Book Project to Support the Humane Societ
ANN ARBOR, MI — West Oak Dog Photography is launching The Dogs of Ann Arbor, a limited-edition coffee table book celebrating local dogs while raising funds for the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV).
Applications are now open for 30 local dogs to be featured in this 2026 volume. The registration fee for the project is $200, and $100 of that registration fee will be donated to the shelter to support local pets in need.
This project is a tribute to the love we share with our dogs and a way for the community to come together for a great cause. The goal is to move the images you love off of your devices and into your home as custom artwork that makes you smile every day.
Project Details:
Applications: Now open to dogs of all breeds and personalities.
Portrait Sessions: These are 90-minute sessions held on-location in the greater Ann Arbor area.
The Experience: Sessions are relaxed adventures designed to capture your dog's real personality—no strict obedience is required.
Publication: Targeted release of December 2026.
Selected dogs receive a guaranteed double-page spread in the book. It is a unique opportunity to celebrate your dog’s story while supporting the work done by HSHV.
Local dog owners can apply to have their dog featured at: https://www.westoakphotography.com/dogs-of-ann-arbor-book.
