ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) is making service adjustments beginning Sunday, August 23, 2026. These service updates are to improve on-time performance and the rider’s experience.
The service updates starting Sunday, August 23 are:
Route 3: Huron River
Route 4: Washtenaw - Local
Route 25: Ann Arbor - Saline Rd.
Route 27: W. Stadium - Oak Valley
Route 32: Miller - Maple
Route 62: U-M - State
Route 66: Carpenter - Huron Pkwy
The Blake Transit Center (BTC) remains temporarily closed during the Fourth Ave. construction that is anticipated to last through the end of 2026. Downtown Ann Arbor boarding locations have temporarily moved to Fifth Ave./Washington St. A temporary sales location is available at 314 E. Washington St. The downtown D2A2 & Michigan Flyer Ann Arbor stops have moved to E. Washington St. between State St. & Division St. due to 4th Ave. construction. TheRide’s route information is available in many formats. RideGuides outline helpful riding information, along with service maps and route schedules and are available on buses, at our transit centers, and at select community locations in our service area. In addition, TheRide’s Rider Tools allow customers to stay up to date on estimated arrival times, detours, and other service-related alerts along a route or at a specific bus stop. Each bus stop also has a sign regarding TheRide’s Text My Bus feature, which allows riders to text to find out when their bus will arrive at their stop. In addition, customers can call TheRide’s route information line at 734-996-0400 for assistance on any service questions they may have.
