ANN ARBOR, Ml 03/14/24- For the 12th time Domino's Farms won recognition for their top quality bison at the Eastern Bison Association's 27th annual "Show and Sale" in Harrisburg, PA. Todd Crocker, grounds and ranch manager at Domino's Farms transported nine bison to Pennsylvania on March 9 with all nine bison placing in their categories. Domino's Farms won top honors in the following categories: Heifer Calves, Pen of 2 Heifer Calves, Yearling Heifers, and Bull Calves. In total, Domino's Farms entries collected nine top three category finishes. In addition, Domino's Farms won the Reserve Champion Male and the coveted Producer of the Year.

The eleven total awards is the most by Domino's Farms during their twelve years of participation at the Eastern Bison Association (EBA) Show. This continues the progress in the breeding management and livestock operations by Domino's Farms. Crocker stated "I am overwhelmed with the results we achieved. It is very gratifying that our herd operations are recognized by our peers as one of the top in the industry. In 2017 we purchased the calf of the Grand Champion female from the National Bison Association's Gold Trophy Show and Sale. He is now our lead herd bull and is siring numerous award winning calves." Crocker reported all the bison were sold at the auction.

Currently, Domino's Farms has 58 bison in their pasture along US-23 at the Domino's Farms Office Park in Ann Arbor Township. The herd is expected to yield two dozen calves this year. Births typically occur from early April to late June. The current herd of bison was started in 1993 and has become a signature feature, being incorporated into the company's logo in 2007.

The Eastern Bison Association was formed in 1996 to address the needs of the eastern bison producers through education, research, and the marketing of bison and bison products. The EBA, with nearly two hundred and fifty members, has members in twenty-three states, with most of the member herds located east of the Mississippi River. Domino's Farms is also a member of the National Bison Association.

Domino's Farms Office Park is the largest Class-A, multi-tenant office complex in the Ann Arbor commercial real estate market. The office park, opened in 1985, is built in a pastoral setting, with nearly one hundred acres dedicated to bison pasture and is also home to the non-profit, educational Domino's Farm Petting Farm.
