Michigan Public & WGVU announce date change for “Hidden Brain: On Stage with Shankar Vedantam” in Grand Rapids

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Due to unforeseen circumstances, Michigan Public and WGVU announce that Hidden Brain: On Stage with Shankar Vedantam has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. Current ticketholders will receive a message from their point of purchase with more information.

 

All tickets purchased for the original date (Thursday, September 10, 2026) will be honored at the rescheduled date. No action is required for ticketholders still able to attend the rescheduled date. Digital tickets will automatically update to reflect the new date & time.

 

Ticketholders unable to attend the rescheduled date may request a full refund, including all service fees, from their point of purchase. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the rescheduling announcement.  

Hidden Brain is a science podcast hosted by veteran science journalist Shankar Vedantam. It explores the unconscious patterns that shape human behavior. The show is routinely rated the #1 science podcast in the United States, and it can be heard every Sunday at 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Michigan Public.
