KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Ann Arbor Sports Commission will host the 2027 and 2028 NAIA Swimming and Diving National Championships at the Jones Natatorium on the campus of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Located inside Eastern Michigan University’s Olds-Robb Student Recreation/Intramural Complex, Jones Natatorium is the home of Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving and a proven host of championship-level competitions. 

“The facility and proven track record with the Ann Arbor Sports Commission make this an exciting announcement, and one that we believe will lead to high-level championship moments for our member institutions,” said Austin Bennett, NAIA Vice President of Championships. “We’re excited to bring high-level competition to an incredible space in 2027 and 2028.”

The facility features a beautiful Olympic-size 50-meter pool with a 17-foot depth, springboards (1M and 3M) and platforms (5M, 7.5M, and 10M), along with advanced training amenities including water and dryland spotting rigs, trampolines, foam floors, and a bubbler system to accelerate skill development. With deck capacity for 570 and seating for 800, Jones Natatorium offers both high-level performance capabilities and a strong spectator experience.

The Ann Arbor Sports Commission boasts a strong track record of hosting high-level NAIA events that deliver exceptional athlete and championship experiences.
