Angela Hospice Hosts H.E.R - A Supportive Space for Women to Find Trusted Help
Livonia, MI – Life transitions can bring uncertainty, especially when women find themselves navigating important decisions on their own. To help address those challenges, Angela Hospice invites the community to a special women’s empowerment event, H.E.R. (Hospice Empowerment Resources), on Wednesday, March 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Angela Hospice Livonia Care Center.
H.E.R. was thoughtfully created as a welcoming, judgment-free space where women can connect, ask questions, and gain confidence while learning from an expert panelist of women about trusted resources for everyday needs.
“H.E.R. is intentionally women-centered because we recognize the unique ways women often carry responsibility, emotional labor, and unspoken stress,” explained Keely Rhiannon, Lead Grief Counselor at Angela Hospice. “This program offers a supportive environment where women can build confidence, connection, and community while learning tools that support their well-being.”
Attendees will hear from a panel of knowledgeable women professionals representing a wide range of services, including home services, automotive care, estate planning, organization and handy man services, painting, and jewelry. By featuring an all-women panel, the event is designed to make finding reliable help feel less intimidating and more empowering.
One of the featured panelists is Lily Higgins, Marketing Manager at Sharon’s Heating & Air Conditioning, who said “I’m honored to be a panelist and to help connect women with practical resources, encouragement, and support,” Higgins said.
“At Sharon’s Heating & Air Conditioning, caring for our community has always been at the heart of what we do. I have a personal passion for HVAC and education, and I think it’s so important for women to feel confident understanding the systems in their homes. Knowledge brings peace of mind and helps homeowners feel empowered to make informed decisions about their comfort and care.”
The event will include light refreshments and an open, pressure-free atmosphere focused on learning, support, and empowerment. The event is free and open to the community, and while RSVPs are appreciated, they are not required.
Women of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to connect with trusted professionals, and with one another.
