Life can be heavy, but Laughter Lifts You Up! This is the idea behind Angela Hospice’s upcoming comedy night. Taking place Tuesday, April 21, 6-10 p.m., at the Italian American Banquet & Conference Center in Livonia, Laughter Lifts You Up is a lighthearted friends’ night out, benefitting charitable programs for Angela Hospice patients and families.

This event “lifts up” not only those currently receiving Angela Hospice’s specialized care for a terminal diagnosis, but also families and individuals utilizing the non-profit’s free grief support services, and those who will turn to Angela Hospice for support in the future.

“Every day our team is honored to care for such wonderful families throughout the community, and yet, we know there are even more families who could benefit from the individualized, compassionate services we provide,” said Jamie LaLonde, Angela Hospice president and CEO. “Our goal is to grow our mission and serve where we are needed for all who seek our support in southeast Michigan.”

The Laughter Lifts You Up event is one way to do that, inviting attendees to support the good work Angela Hospice does in the community, while providing a time to celebrate with friends and family for an important cause.

All proceeds from the event will be directed toward Angela Hospice’s caring programs, including support for seriously ill children and adults, community grief support programs, and educational outreach throughout the community.
