WXW Event: GOT AMBITION? - Panel Discussion
Whether it's becoming CEO, starting the next Rent the Runway or nailing that promotion, ambition matters.
Waiting to be noticed and rewarded for your good work won't get you to your goals.
The world universally admires ambitious men. But ambitious women? That's when it gets trickier. Being seen as driven or "trying to hard" is considered unappealing. These unconscious stereotypes can prevent us from fulfilling our own potential.
And it's not just external obstacles. We hold ourselves back, too:
- Fear of taking risks
- Lack of confidence
- Perfectionism (can you relate?)
Join us and a panel of dynamic women to talk our views on ambition and the role that it plays in our careers and lives, from growing your network, to balancing big goals with family, from access to capital to opportunity for advancement. Together, we'll examine what ambition means to us personally and how we can stoke it to achieve our dreams - whatever they are.
