Join us for the American Cancer Society's second "speaker series" networking event hosted by University Bank on Tuesday, November 13th from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. This event is a great opportunity for you to hear from local community members who have faced a pivotal point in their career or are contemplating a major change currently. These speakers will offer insight into what pivot they had to take, how and when in their career they decided to take this leap, and advice on how you can "pivot" your career! After the short speaker series and Q&A, there will be ample opportunity to network with all attendees. A light lunch will be provided by Jimmy John's. Please be sure to RSVP via Eventbrite, so we know how much food to provide!

If you (or somebody you know) has a story about making a pivot at a point in your career/taking a risk (whether successful or not) or are contemplating a change currently, we would love to have you apply to be a speaker. Speakers may apply here. In order to ensure that we have a diverse group of speakers, American Cancer Society staff will review applications and select speakers no later than Monday, November 5th.
