Get ready for an adventure that’s anything but ordinary! Friends In Deed’s Over The Edge fundraiser returns to Eastern Michigan University’s Hill Hall on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

More than 90 brave participants will take their fundraising to new heights by rappelling down the side of Hill Hall to raise money for Friends In Deed and local nonprofit partners.

This high-energy community event brings together participants, families, friends, nonprofit organizations, volunteers, and supporters for a day of courage, connection, and impact. Come cheer on the rappellers, enjoy the excitement, and learn more about the organizations working to help people in need throughout Washtenaw County.

Participants are raising funds to support programs that help neighbors facing financial hardship—including assistance with housing expenses, transportation, furniture, and economic mobility.

Want to take the leap yourself? Rappel spots are available for those ready to accept the challenge and raise funds for a cause they care about.
