You will watch a video presentation, hear from a panel of experts in the field, and get a tour of a property. In order to meet a growing need for maintenance professionals in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area, they are hiring people who have a solid work ethic, like variety in the workplace and place customer service first. Qualified candidates will be provided with three weeks of training beginning on April 16.

The maintenance technician is a key part of the apartment building community. You are responsible for keeping the grounds clean, shoveling snow, fixing appliances, unclogging plumbing, and getting new units ready by painting, repairing drywall and fixing whatever needs to be repaired.

You will be a good fit for this opportunity if you:

• Are 18 years old or able to obtain a work permit
• Have access to a vehicle to be able to get to work when you are on call, and to drive around the property
• Have a valid Driver's License
• Do not use illegal drugs
• Are able to pass a background check
• Have good fine motor skills and like using tools and learning new things
• Would enjoy providing excellent customer service for community members
• Are comfortable with the McKinley dress code which does not allow visible tattoos and piercings
