Join us for a special $5 after 5 as we celebrate International Science Center and Science Museum Day! In addition to exploring our 250+ interactive exhibits, you'll have the opportunity to learn all about wind energy through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and our brand new wind exhibits. Make a mini-wind mill and experiment with generating power. Engineer a wind farm and see it in action! Make your own anemometer so you can continue the fun at home by measuring how windy it is in different parts of your neighborhood. This project was funded with the generous support of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy, Wind Program. Special recognition also belongs to U.S. Representatives John and Debbie Dingell.
