Join U-M Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum curator Dr. David Michener, UMMA curator Jennifer Friess for a conversation in the exhibition Jason DeMarte: Garden of Artificial Delights, which features hyperreal images of local flora and fauna amid a deluge of sugary foodstuffs. Michener and Friess will explore connections between the real and imagined elements of these fantastical landscapes and the rich social histories embedded in representations of plant life.
