How to Buy or Sell a Business
The buying and selling of a small business are among the most important, and most over-looked, topics an entrepreneur will face. Buying an existing company at a good price is one of the best ways to obtain small business ownership. And today, post-recession, and with many baby boomers eager to retire, increasing number of business owners are looking to sell. However, it’s been estimated that only 5% of attempted business sale transactions are successful. Furthermore, the smaller businesses that we are targeting for this program are the ones least likely to have the resources and wherewithal to successfully complete these lengthy and difficult transactions.
This half-day event offers a “Buyer’s Track” and a “Seller’s Track” and concludes with a single Panel Discussion where participants can ask additional questions of presenters. There will provide sufficient time for networking and will also have information tables from the sponsors and presenters.
