Dr. Philip Stella, Speaks at Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor
Dr. Philip Stella is the Medical Director at the St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Cancer Center. He has clinical interest in lung, gastrointestinal, and breast cancers. Dr. Stella is the Principal Investigator of the Michigan Cancer Research Consortium (MCRC) participating in the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Community Oncology Research Program.
In 2014, NCI funded MCRC with a $10 million award. MCRC was selected as one of 34 community sites across the country to receive a 5-year grant enabling patients throughout a 14 hospital consortium to participate in leading edge clinical trials offering access to top cancer treatments.
