Disability Awareness Sensitivity Training and Employer Responsibility Under the ADA
Seminar Objectives Include:
- Anticipating and addressing disability issues
- Appropriately interacting with people with disabilities in the workplace
- Avoiding common mistakes in addressing employee requests for accommodations
- Understanding the nuts and bolts of State and Federal disability law
Carolyn Grawi is the Executive Director of the Ann Arbor CIL. She works to uphold and go beyond the Americans with Disabilities Act to promote access for all.
Angela Walker is a founder and managing part-ner of the Ann Arbor-based civil rights firm, Blanchard & Walker, PLLC.
