How does a radio wave carry information? What is the difference between amateur and broadcast radio? What kind of equipment are you likely to find at a radio station? Discover the answers to these questions as you explore AAHOM’s very own HAM radio station: WA2HOM. Boy Scouts will earn their Radio Merit Badge during this workshop. (Please note: this workshop focuses on amateur radio, and will not go in-depth on broadcast stations or public service communications centers.) Pre-registration required: $30 per scout and $8 per adult.
