For Laura Wright, the vision behind Ellis & Wright Assisted Living Center LLC was inspired by a passion for serving others, a background in healthcare, and a personal understanding of the importance of quality care for individuals and families.
With more than a decade of healthcare experience and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training completed through Washtenaw Community College, Laura has developed a strong appreciation for the compassion, dignity, and dedication required to care for others. Her personal caregiving journey further strengthened her desire to create a welcoming environment where seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities can receive personalized support while maintaining their dignity, independence, and sense of belonging.
Through prayer, perseverance, discipline, and consistency, Laura brought her vision to life alongside her business partners, Rachel, Chief Operating Officer, and Yolanda, Executive Vice President. Together, they established Ellis & Wright Assisted Living Center LLC, a licensed adult foster care home serving the Ann Arbor community.
As members of the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber and the Health Care Association of Michigan (HCAM), Ellis & Wright is excited to build meaningful relationships, strengthen community partnerships, and collaborate with healthcare providers, local organizations, and fellow business leaders. These connections represent an important step toward expanding access to compassionate care and contributing to the well-being of the communities they serve.
For Laura and her team, Ellis & Wright represents more than a business. It represents purpose, faith, resilience, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
