Washtenaw County has a strong and vibrant economy with great potential for future growth. Despite these strengths, we still face the challenges of growing local economic inequalities.
 
Impact 2015 will take an in-depth look at this paradigm and begin the conversation on how we ensure disparities can be addressed from a business perspective, in a way that promotes broad economic growth.
 
Through panel discussions, speakers and audience engagement, we will look at where we are and how we got here; hear from local business leaders about their perspectives; and discuss as a business community the needed solutions to ensure we retain a strong local economy within a thriving community.

We are fortunate to have Neel Hajra, President & CEO of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation as our moderator. Mary Jo Callan, Director of the University of Michigan’s Ginsberg Center (and former Director of Washtenaw County’s Office of Community and Economic Development) will be presenting on vital data and demographics related to our discussion.
