A2Y DEI Series Event: Interviewing Hiring Recruiting and Retaining a Diverse Workforce
"Having a Diverse Workforce Is Important"
Research has found that having a diverse staff can boost productivity, increase employee morale, stimulate creative new ideas and innovation, reduce employee turnover, enhance the organization's reputation and increase profits.
Miller Canfield is a 170 year old law firm, started in Detroit in 1852. They are the oldest and one of the largest law firms in Michigan, with more than 200 attorneys in 18 offices and affiliated locations in North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. They offer a range of services that include Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Insolvency, Environmental, Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Employment and Labor.
Please join us on June 22 to hear from their Employment and Labor and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division. Jennifer and Michelle will share with us why it is important to have a diverse workforce, legal steps you can take to Hire, Interview, Recruit and Retain for a diverse work place, and strategies you can implement to create and maintain a diverse work culture.
Whether you, or your organization, are just getting started on your DEI journey, or even if you have a good comprehension of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, this session is for you and anyone that wants to learn. We encourage you to ask questions and share your experiences at these open sessions.
