A2Y Chamber: UM Supplier Diversity & Procurement Workshop
Attention: Ypsilanti small business owners and minority business owners!
If you are at least 51 percent, owned, operated, and controlled by a person of a diverse background this workshop is for you! This includes Women-Owned Enterprises, LGBTQ+ Enterprises, Minority Business Enterprises, and Veteran-Owned businesses.
University of Michigan Health System is relocating and expanding their Ypsilanti Health Center into the new MI-HQ building, that once housed the Eastern Michigan University College of Business in downtown Ypsilanti. Construction is underway and Michigan Medicine is looking for vendors.
The Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber, in conjunction with the Association of Businesses of Color, the Ypsilanti Enterprise Association, and Michigan Medicine Community Health Planning and Investment team, are hosting a workshop on how to do business with Michigan Medicine.
Please join us to learn about:
- UM’s RFP Process
- Best practices for submitting a successful proposal
- Resources to support local, small businesses
- Diverse supplier qualifications
- Socially responsible procurement at Michigan Medicine
- Navigating the procurement process
This is a great opportunity to connect with Michigan Medicine, ask questions, and learn how your small or minority-owned business can work with the University.
