A2Y Chamber Special Edition - Managing the Transition back to “Normal.”

Employers are beginning to welcome employees back into the workplace now that nearly 60% of Michiganders have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) has issued a revised set of Emergency Rules aimed at guiding employers through this novel transition. Even with these new rules, however, employers are struggling to develop a return-to-work strategy that will keep employees safe, but also allow them to get a sense that things are returning to “normal.” In this webinar, we will discuss the most current state and federal guidance on requiring employees to be vaccinated and also to report their vaccination status. We will also discuss strategies for managing employees who are hesitant to return to the workplace. Finally, we will discuss the most recent MIOSHA rules on creating and maintaining a safe workplace.
