Join us at Headline Lunch on Tuesday December 6^th with Dr. James M. Smith, the 23rd president of Eastern Michigan University.

Dr. Smith began his duties on July, 1, 2016. Now six months into the job, come and hear from Dr. Smith about his first impressions and the full year ahead in 2017. With a nearly thirty-five year career in education and educational administration, Dr. Smith brings a unique perspective to the office of the president, with past success in the varied fields of elementary education, economic development, and international educational collaboration. With so many exciting things happening at Eastern Michigan University, Dr. Smith will share more about the possibilities that exist for collaboration and interaction between EMU and its community, as well as the role EMU continues to play in providing our region with a world class educational institution that is both affordable and accessible.
