A2Y Chamber Event: IMPACT 2025
Impact 2025 will engage our community on the emerging concept of the Detroit-Ann Arbor Innovation Corridor, which will make our region a global leader in the high-tech and advanced manufacturing economy.
Our morning will kick-off with a bold vision for the Corridor’s opportunity from Chris Kolb, the University of Michigan’s Vice President for Government Relations.

Next, we will hear from Sandy Baruah, CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber and Glenn Stevens, Executive Director of MichAuto and Chief Automotive and Innovation Officer, Detroit Regional Chamber. Sandy and Glenn will guide us through groundbreaking work Richard Florida did in tandem with the Detroit Regional Chamber Detroit Chamber.

We will close our morning with an incredible panel discussion on the work in progress for the Ann Arbor and Detroit anchor communities and facilities. This discussion will feature Scott Shireman the University of Michigan Center for Innovation facility, Mark de la Vergne from Michigan Central, Paul Krutko of Ann Arbor SPARK, and a representative from Wayne State University/TechTown Detroit.
The Detroit-Ann Arbor Corridor has the potential to transform our national and global positions. Impact will inform attendees about this moment of opportunity and help them engage in ways that will benefit their organizations.
