As our region navigates its way through these unprecedented times, it is important to remember that essential services, such as healthcare, not only remained open to care for patients but also, healthcare providers redesigned how they delivered that care. As we now face the “new normal” in healthcare, we cannot forget about those patients who had their care postponed or those who may have put off addressing urgent healthcare needs.
Two area physician leaders, Mohammad Salameh, MD, FACP, FHM
Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, IHA, and Martha M. Walsh, MD, MHSA, FACOG, Chief Quality and Population Health Officer, IHA, will share how one local medical group has been caring for patients during this crisis as well as answer any COVID-related questions. They will also share how IHA is expanding their care delivery methods to meet the needs of chronic care patients as well as those who want to maintain their health and wellness through preventive care visits. This includes enhancing the safety precautions already in place and strong coordination with their hospital partners at St. Joe’s to ensure patients, along with staff and providers, feel safe returning for outpatient procedures and surgeries.
