February's Early Edition is a special one!
To celebrate Black History Month we will hear from three local leaders in the literary industry. They will share their perspectives on their work, its interactions with our southeast Michigan community, and what to expect as this market grows. This will be a panel sharing real-life experiences of Black small business creation and growth in a sector that combines arts and entertainment with significant economic impact.
Join us to hear from:
Elle Wright, local author, born and raised in Southeast Michigan, learned the importance of reading from her mother, turning her dreams into reality.
Carlos Franklin, owner, Black Stone Bookstore & Cultural Center
Marsalis Higgs, local author, founder of Paraphernalia, and deputy editor of WAVES
The A2Y Chamber Early Edition breakfast's interactive format brings the business and community leaders together to learn about industry leaders and issues facing the Ann Arbor & Ypsilanti community. Early Edition will be held the 3rd Wednesday of each of month at Weber's Boutique Hotel & Restaurant.
