Disability Network Washtenaw Monroe Livingston’s mission is to empower the lives of people with disabilities and advocate for a more inclusive community for all. Since our founding in 1976, we have remained grounded in the Independent Living philosophy, working alongside people with disabilities to help build communities where access, choice, and dignity are not optional, but expected. Simply put, DNWML is run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities with 80% of our staff identifying as having a disability.
