Building Cyber Resiliency into your Everyday Practice:

Claudia Rast
Butzel
Cybersecurity webinars are quick to advise on what to do when the cyber incident happens. While this advice is extremely helpful, the focus of this session is to describe the steps companies should implement in advance of the the cyber incident. Whether your entity is large or small and enjoys a multi-million-dollar IT budget or a budget of merely thousands, you face the same daily onslaught from threat actors and nation states. Their threats are constant and agnostic to size and dollars.
So, what should companies do to build cyber resiliency? Please join us to hear from Claudia at Butzel to find out. She will address the basic steps in building cyber resiliency and discuss how to:
- create an Incident Response Plan
- recruit an Incident Response Team
- implement robust and comprehensive training
Throughout her career, each year she is sought for her knowledge and insight - in areas ranging from Technology, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Data Breach, eDiscovery, and Social Media - locally and nationally as evidenced by the numerous presentations, publications, and speaking engagements. Claudia is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of of Detroit School of Law (cum laude), where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Detroit Law Review.
