Mental health challenges can emerge in many different settings, especially the workplace. As we head into Spring and Summer months with more foot traffic, higher temperatures, and more people, now is a good time to find out the best ways to handle a potential mental health crisis in your place of business. The Ann Arbor DDA is partnering with the A2Y Chamber to host Washtenaw County Community Mental Health (CMH) to provide you with important process information on how to handle these sensitive situations.
This event will help answer your questions about what CMH Crisis Services can provide in real time. It will also help to explain the situations that require immediate response and those which do not meet the same criteria nor require similar interventions. The information provided will help business owners and operators to best navigate these sensitive situations in ways that allow them to both successfully run their operations while also respecting the dignity and autonomy of all community members. This is a free workshop with registration as the only requirement, but space will be limited.
