Neurodiversity
Please join us Monday, December 15 to hear from Dr. Franka Arcangeli, Founder of International Therapy Solutions.
Franka is a board-certified mental health psychotherapist with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She was clinically trained by the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Health System, where she also conducted research on mental health. She went on to complete further training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Michigan School of Social Work Michigan Health System Hospital and University of Michigan Depression Center.
This session will focus on neurodivergent or neurodevelopment differences. We will garner a better understanding of how people experience and interact with the world around them in different ways. We will learn that there are many different ways to process information, to think, to learn, and how to recognize these characteristics to support one's well-being, to create an environment where their strengths and talents are recognized and their needs are supported.
