DESCRIPTION:Explore and discover the many ways we shape\, create and play with sound this summer\, in our new Sonic Workshop. This exciting new space will feature the Digital Musicians' Toolbox\, a trio of large\, interactive touch screen displays that will allow visitors to explore music making in all its forms\, and play with the tools and ideas that musicians use to create. Visitors are encouraged to work creatively in the Makey Makey Workstation to build their own digital instrument using everyday items like play dough\, tinfoil\, pencils\, and/or anything that can conduct electricity! There will also be student created sonic exhibits that are sure to amaze and inspire.
