Leading By Example: A2Y Chamber Discussion on Innovative Business Policy Practices
Please join the A2Y Regional Chamber for a unique event to learn more from local and national business leaders regarding the use of innovative policies to improve the business environment, communities, and bottom line.
Business leaders representing the American Sustainable Business Council, Zingerman’s community of businesses, and Menlo Innovations will share their experience using internal practices and policies to help their employees, their customers, their community, and their balance sheet. We will also hear more about national efforts to allow greater freedom for businesses to put these and other innovative practices and policies in place.
- Richard Eidlin from the American Sustainable Business Council will share details on the ASBC’s 10 point principles as the best practices of High Road Employers program;
- Paul Saginaw from Zingerman’s will talk more about their participation in the “Sanctuary Restaurant” movement; and
- James Goebel from Menlo Innovations will share more about how Menlo has put its parental leave policy in place to help its employees and its productivity.
