A2Y Chamber Event: Early Edition-May 2015
The Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti Regional Chamber is pleased to announce the 2015 Exemplary Educational Endeavors (E3) Award Recipients at our May 20, A2Y Early Edition Breakfast. The purpose of this program is to promote business and community growth and development by supporting educational programs designed to strengthen and expand the skill level of Washtenaw County’s youth. This year’s program honors educational programs and/or educators in the local K-12 schools of Ann Arbor, Lincoln Consolidated, Ypsilanti Community Schools & Saline.
E3 Award Definition & Criteria
Exemplary: something that serves as a model, deserving imitation.
Endeavor: an activity directed toward a goal.
The Exemplary Educational Endeavors Award may be presented for an activity, effort, or program by an individual or group that accomplishes one or more of the following criteria:
Provides enhanced educational opportunities and experiences for students both inside and outside the classroom.
Increases parental and community involvement in the educational process.
Prepares students to enter the workforce and develop lifelong learning skills.
Develops innovative initiatives, business partnerships, or career pathways.
Continues to improve the quality of area public school districts.
