Transition to Adulthood: A series to empower parents to meet the challenges that face adolescents on the Autism spectrum as they age into independent adults.
February 9: Adult Social and Life Skills Development: Enriching the Lives of Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) by Increasing Functional Behavior and Social Activities in Daily Life.
During this presentation Dr. Naguib will review some of the challenges faced by high functioning adolescents and young adults diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and will discuss a framework to assess current functioning and to identify appropriate goals.
Dr. Suzi Naguib is a licensed clinical psychologist and the clinical director of Sunfield Center for Autism, ADHD and Behavioral Health. Prior to starting Sunfield Center, she worked as a psychologist at the University of Michigan Autism and Communication Disorders Center. She has extensive experience providing interventions and evaluations of individuals of all ages on the Autism
spectrum.
